This set contains data from the 1950-control and the accompanying transient climate simulations that follow the HighResMIP protocol:

    • The 1950-control simulation is forced by perpetual 1950 Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions for 130 years..

1950 Control Simulation

High Resolution: Yrs 1950 - 2050   Low Resolution: Yrs 1950 - 2050  
    • The transient climate simulation is forced by observed GHG emissions from 1950 to 2005 and then by projected GHG emissions from 2006 to 2050 based on the Representative Concentration Pathway 8.5 (RCP8.5) scenario.

  • Extension of transient runs from 2051 through 2100.
